While the original UltraRest HD offered tons of features that made it ‘THE’ choice for many hunters, the cocking mechanism on this launcher was made with the minimalist in mind. While we had many requests for an ‘easy out’ on the launcher we either had people tell us that they wanted an even softer launcher or that the cocking mechanism would stay in the up position better if we cocked it instead of draw it back. The answer to our customers was ‘nothing’. Since the UltraRest HD does it all. The launcher has adjustment positions for horizontal and vertical adjustment. It even has a tab that releases the launcher when the archer draws the bow back instead of down. There is no fine tuning necessary with this launcher. It just works.
