This cranking system works well but the crank itself has a tendency to eventually brake due to metal fatigue. Highly recommend buying an extra crank to take hunting with you, if your only crank breaks while you are setting up and you can't set the bow with a cocking rope (maybe due to shoulder issues) then the day's hunt is over before it starts!
