Replaced the scope that came with my Barnett Ghost 385 which was a piece of junk. This scope is sharper, allows more light in and is 100% better. Glad I bought it. It is easy to set up and sight in and I feel I made the right choice.

I zeroed the scope at 20 yards and matched the speed on the scope to my xbow and fine tuned it at 30 yards. After that all the aim points were pretty much spot on out to 70 yards. I didn’t try the 80-100 yard aim points since I don’t ever plan on shooting it much past 50 yards. The only improvement I could see for this scope would be to have someway of locking the zoom once you have it calibrated for your crossbow. I just put a small paint for where the reticle was calibrated for my setup at.

Even though the scope says 1.5×5 power, you will not get the upper power unless your crossbow is super fast. Mine says that its 340fps, after I got sighted in my fps was 305. The power magnification goes by your bows fps. It is a really accurate way of sighting in your crossbow, I got a 3" group at 50 yards off the benchrest.

I bought this scope with the package on a Mission Crossbow. At the store the owner got me on paper and told me to go home and zero it at 20 yards and go from there using the hold over crosses. So here I go. I set the bow up on a solid rest to minimize error and fired the first arrow. It hit high and to the left about an inch and one half. Before I shot again I wanted to see what kind of group I could get but remembering that the store owner said not to shoot at the same "Bull" twice so I went and pulled out to bolt reloaded, and shot again. It went exactly in the same hole. Repeating the same for the third shot it went in the same hole again. I adjusted the elevation and windage and after only a few shots had the thing zeroed in, and I mean zeroed in. I have multiple bulls on the target and was a direct hit every time. Moving back to 30 and 40 yards I hit the red every time. Tried a shot at 50 yards and was absolutly amazed, not to mention pleased with myself. Maybe not dead center but within 1 1/2". This scope is an absolute dream. It is very clear and easy to set up. The illumination has varying amounts of brightness as well and is clear to see in either the red or green light. If you forget to turn it off it shuts down by itself. I think the price is right on the money as well. Well built, clear optics, easy to set up, good price and dead solid perfect.

Good scope. It is not a adjustable scope like for a rifle. Goes by the speed of crossbow. So the faster speeds it will be at the higher power. Find fpsit is fix at that power. So if you are like me and had a fix 4x scope wanted something lower power for shots closer do not buy if you had a fast bow. 340 be 3x 385 be 4x 425 be 5x. 250 be 1.5x 280 be 2x. Once sighted in for speed suppose to be sighted in to all yardage. I have to wait till snow melts to see.
