Constructed with the same durability as a standard-sized Genesis bow, the Genesis Mini Bow is ideal for young shooters who are getting ready to take their first steps into archery. Genesis constructed these Bows & Crossbows with a mass weight of only 2 pounds, and the Zero Let-off technology helps to pull the string from your fingers upon release so that you can focus more on the act of aiming. This Genesis Youth Bow can be drawn to a wide range of lengths and the zero let-off feature helps to pull the string from your fingers upon release which is incredibly helpful for a beginner or a young shooter just beginning their bow-making skills. Pick up a Genesis Mini Bow for a kid you can shoot with and teach them to shoot well! Perfect for my 6 year old 36# daughter and 3.5 year old son. I added a whisker basket and turned the poundage down. Both kids love it. It sticks into my target so both enjoy the results of hitting the target. I recommend some sort of rest.

I just got this for my 7 year old to replace a bear starter bow that was loud, clanky and shot more like a catapult. The most frustrating thing for my son was the bear would not sink an arrow into the target. We tried his 10 year old brothers Genisis and it was just slightly toolong and heavy. The Mini is a great size, weight, and gives him the feeling of accomplishment that when he hits the mark the arrow has enough energy to send an arrow into the target. I can even shoot the thing because of the versitile draw length.
